Hi I'm fashion stylist and typeF expert, Lilliana Vazquez. When you're out you want to look your best right, but before you put on your boogie shoes you want to think about the makeup style you're going to be rocking. The goto winner is a smoky eye with a soft lip and cheek. Here's what you're going to need, eye shadow, eyeliner, waterproof mascara, foundation, blush and lip gloss. Choose vibrant colors for your eyes or for your lips but not for both and you can't go wrong with a dark smoky eye. It's dramatic color shapes, highlights and lifts the eyes. When you choose eye shadows find shadows that complement your skin tone and eyes. Start with a thin black eyeliner on your top eyelid, close to the lashes, extend it slightly past the end of the outer eye. You can also make the line as thick and bold as you want to play up your personality. Next with a brush, use the darker shade of the eye shadow palette to create a subtle V shape to the outer part of your eyelid. Then use the middle tone and apply it all over the middle of your eyelid. Finally, add the lighter shade on the inside of your eye to highlight. The last step is to add eyeliner on your bottom lid and dark shading to the highlight on the bottom shape of the eye. Once you're done, use a clean makeup sponge to clean up around the eyes and blend again. The end result for the eyes should be an alluring shape and color that looks glamorous. Add a dark waterproof mascara to kick up the lashes or you can also apply false lashes to give your eyes a little extra pop. Apply an even light base of foundation and make sure to blend it thoroughly. Then use a powder blush and apply the darker hue to the cheekbone, the jawline and the brow of the forehead to highlight your face shape. Next, apply the lighter brush hue between your jawline and your cheekbone and blend completely. Since you're going with a darker more vibrant eye, you need to think about a shade of lip gloss that is close to the natural color of your lips. A light pink or nude will do the trick. For added natural color, you can take a makeup brush and add a light layer of a rosy cream blush to your lips before you add lip gloss. Then using a color that matches your lips, add a nice even layer of shiny tinted lip gloss that will balance out and finish your glamorous look. Make sure to bring along the blush and the lip gloss to freshen up your makeup if needed. Thanks for joining us and I'll see you on another episode of typeF Survival Guide. Show More Show Less
