Hi I'm fashion stylist and typeF expert, Lilliana Vazquez. Now if you have big plans for a night out on the town with your girls, you're probably looking for the perfect party outfit. So where should you start? Well first and foremost, your look should give you the freedom to express your own personal style and leave you feeling confident. The idea is to find a look that highlights your best features in an understated yet sexy kind of way. Remember ladies, sometimes less is more. Here are a few of my favorite options, a mini dress, stylish short shorts, sparkly tops, slim cut blazers and statement heels. A go to item for girls' night out is an LBD, a little black dress. It's great because there are so many options to flatter so many different shapes. For a pear shaped body, a strapless top or a halter with a fuller bottom helps minimize hips and accent a trim upper body. For petites, look for fitted styles that hit above the knee to help make your body look long and lean. For full figured bodies, opt for a wrap style that hugs your curves and accents your waist and instantly takes off ten pounds, but make sure you dress up your LBD with a few stylish items that can update your look in a modern and fashion forward way. Another option instead of a little black dress is a mini skirt and a sparkly top or a pair of short shorts. Shorts are ideal for petite bodies and athletic body shapes. Just remember to pair them with a solid color top that helps one long lean look from head to toe. For full figures, you'll want to opt for a pair of loose fitting shorts that complement your legs and create a sexy shape. A dark solid color will also slim down the legs. When it comes to shoes, don't be afraid to be bold with a pair of sky high statement heels. In this look, you're sure to turn heads wherever the night takes you. And don't forget about finishing touches, fabulous shoes and statement jewelry can make great conversation starters with new people at a bar. They also look great in pictures and instantly dress up any outfit. Are you starting to see how fun, fashionable and easy your next girls' night look can be? But before you head out the door, don't forget to grab a cute clutch and some arm candy to help add some sparkle. Now remember, choose a style that complements your face and completes your look. Thanks for joining us and I'll see you on another episode of typeF's Survival Guide.
