Hi, it's Jennifer Chan for TypeF.com, and I'm your girl on the street. Today, we're checking out the scene in the edgy neighborhood of Silverlake in Los Angeles. This girl rocked a cool cargo jacket that was perfect for a day out in Silverlake. We wanted to know what other tricks she had for flattering her figure. What's your name? Wendy. And, where are you from? I live in North Carolina, but I'm thinking about moving here to LA. Alright, describe your style. I guess I would say it's vintage-y, thrifty, easygoing. Okay. I love your casual outfit today. Tell me where you got everything from. Thank you. My shoes are from a thrift store. My jeans are from Target. My shirt is from some cheapo store on Broadway in New York. And, my jacket is from Ann Taylor Loft. Nice! What about your handbag? Oh, I got it in Hong Kong. Okay. And, your jewelery, I see a really great real gold. Thank you. This is from, I used to own a store in New York, and it was a vintage store, and it was from there. And then, my rings my friend made for me. She is a jewelry designer in Hong Kong. Oh, wow! Yeah. I want to know how you embrace your body shape. What's your favorite trick for flattering your figure? I tend to wear a lot of blousy tops, which camouflages some trouble areas, to put it mildly. I guess that would be the major thing. Okay. Now, describe your style in three words.
