Hi, I'm Jennifer Chan for Typef.com, and I'm your girl on the street. Today, we're at the Santa Monica Pier where fashioneers just travel near and far to show off their Summer style. Seeing this girl on the boardwalk was like a blast from the past. We had to know more about her vintage look and her crazy fish bag. What's your name? Sydney. And where are you from? I'm from L.A. And tell me about your personal style. So basically, I just shop at garage sales and vintage hand-me-down stores and everything. I don't really shop at big retail places. Okay, so very eclectic. Yeah. Walk me through your outfit today. Where did you get everything from? Okay, my shirt was a hand-me-down from one of my friends. My skirt I got at a garage sale, also one of my friend's garage sales. I got my sandals at Goodwill. My purse, I found in my basement. It was my mother's. She got it from Santa Cruz. My necklaces, one of my great grandmother's costume jewelry things, as well as my bracelet here. My rings, I just got at little vintage-y stores back East, which is where I go to college. My watch I got at Walmart for $7, and then the earrings here I got them at little like vendor places. Okay. So, you're quite a shopper. Yeah, definitely. What are your favorite tricks for flattering your figure? I guess I wear things that make me feel comfortable, and usually that ends up flattering my figure. I like wearing longer skirts because I have really really long legs, and when I wear short skirts, then it's just like a whole bunch of leg and I don't know, it just looks really strange to me for some reason. So, I like wearing longer skirts for me, and then I wear shorter shirts because I mean, I just am comfortable in them. That's just something I like to wear. Perfect. That's basically how I shop. And who are your style icons? I've always looked up to Twiggy. Okay. Describe your style in three words. Oh gosh, easy, cheap and me. I don't know. Thank you.
