Hi, I'm Jennifer Chan for Typef.com and welcome to this edition of Style on the Street, New York. Today we're at Lincoln Center right in the mix of New York Fashion Week where industry insiders gather not only to preview next season's hottest trends but also to show off their impeccable style and flawless fashion expertise. This woman's bold patterns and pretty accessories couldn't be missed. We stopped her to find out more about her colorful look. What's your name. Hi, I'm Celia Sanmigel. And where do you live? I live in the Bronx, New York. And how would you describe your personal style? I think my style is really eclectic. I tend to however, fluctuate between two key looks. One is very Bohemian, sort of free spirited, kind of Nomad style. The other one is very glam rock. So, lots of stud earrings and lots of like two, three finger rings, you know, cool like that so those tend to be the two major things but I do experiment with all kinds of fashion. So you're all about accessories. I'm very much about accessories, yes, very much. I can tell. Okay walk us through your outfit, head to toe, where did you get everything from? This top I actually got from TJ Maxx believe it or not. These are Rita Singh bangles that I got from Outlook. This was actually a gift but it's a, see a wrap bracelet. The earrings are House of Harlow. This I've had for a really really long time so I can't even remember. It was a gift as well. The skirt is My Tribe and I also got it from a sample sale site. They're very good, very handy and then the shoes are Rose Golds. So quite the bargain shopper. I'm quite the bargain shopper, yeah. Where are your favorite stores in New York to shop at? I love actually a lot of the bargain sites. I mean the Century 21s, the Marshalls, the Daffy's, you can get really good stuff, TJ Maxx, you can get really good stuff for very little. Aside that, obviously your Bloomingdale's, you know, Macy's, mainly because of the Rachel Roy collection that they have. Right. I'm obsessed with that and then there's a few little boutiques here and there that I like, Opening Ceremony is great. I like that a lot, so. How do you flatter your figure? Well, I'm petite and I tend to wear heels pretty much all the time. My boyfriend makes fun of me that I only wear sandals indoors which is pretty accurate, like for me flip flops are like indoor shoes so I do that to extend my figure. That aside, I am curvy but I feel like that's part of being Latino and I love it so I actually like to accentuate it. So I wear a lot of like you know, body hugging outfits. I think the important thing is to balance it. If you're wearing a skirt like I'm wearing which kind of you know, hugs the hips and you know, caboose, then you want, you want a blouse that's a little bit looser, that's a little bit more drapy and just keep the balance. That's a great tip. Now tell me the one item in your closet that you're completely obsessed with, it's your go to item. There's a Mackage coat that I absolutely adore. It probably, I wear it almost, it's supposed to be like a fancy coat but I really just wear it all the time because I love it so much and it has these amazing like wide sleeves. It doesn't go all the way down but it has this amazing, which I like to wear it with long sort of elbow length gloves and just the collar detailing. Their work is so amazing but that coat is very very special. Sounds incredible. And describe your style to me in three words. Bold, edgy, colorful. Wonderful, you look amazing. Thanks. Thank you so much. Thanks so much for joining me with this edition of Style on the Street, New York. Don't forget to check back for more seasons and more cities on Typef.com.
