Hi, everyone, it's Jennifer Chan for TypeF.com. And, welcome to this edition of Style on the Street: New York. Today, we're at Lincoln Center, right in the mix of New York Fashion Week, where industry insiders gather not only to preview next season's hottest trends, but also to show off their impeccable style, and flawless fashion expertise. We couldn't help but notice this woman's sexy red dress and matching lips. We had to find out what other style secrets we could learn from her. What's your name? Sydne Summer. And, where do you live? I live in Los Angeles, California. And, how would you describe your personal style? I describe my style as sophisticated and feminine, yet still trendy. Okay, and walk us through your outfit today. Where did you get everything from? Okay, today my dress is from Moon Cats. My necklace is Carolee. My ring is Lia Sophia. My shoes are Zara, and my bag is Dolce & Gabbana that I borrowed from my mom. Perfect! Now, what's your favorite trick for flattering your figure? I have more of an hourglass shape, so I always belt everything to show off my smaller waist, and kind of disguise the hip area. Now, tell us a secret style tip. Secret style tip I'm rocking today is red lips. Fashion week exhausts you to no end, so my eyes are so tired right now. And, when you wear red lips, it draws attention to your mouth, and what your outfit is, rather than your bags under your eyes. Very good tip! Now, tell us a style challenge you have and how you overcome it. I think my style challenge is my bottom half area. Since my waist is smaller, my bottom's bigger, it's really hard to find dresses. So, I look for fabrics that can stretch, and I definitely belt everything just to kind of disguise that and get that hourglass shape. Great. And, what's your favorite go-to fashion item? Fashion item, I think I would say shoes, because you slip on a pair of heels, and you just feel that much more confident, and you can walk and strut your stuff, and it doesn't really matter what you're wearing. Describe your style in three words. Sophisticated, feminine, and trendy. Thank you so much! Thanks so much for joining me for this edition of Style on the Street: New York.
