- Hi, I'm Jessica Liparoto, celebrity hair stylist, and today I'm going to show you how to take your hair from work to night. If you don't have time to stop at home before meeting the girls for a night out, here's a quick simple way to get a fun, flirty pony tail. So on Emily, to get her fun flirty pony tail, I'm going to be using a brush, an elastic, a couple bobby pins and the L'Oreal Paris Elnett Satin Strong Hold hair spray. First we're going to start out by teasing the bang area. You're going to grab your brush and do a little bit of the back-brushing all the way into the crown. This is going to create a nice volume for that flirtiness that we're looking for in our pony tail. And then after you have it to the desired height, I personally like bigger the hair, so I'm going to give her an extra back brush. Then we're going to take our hairspray, and just give it a light mist back all the way through. Then we're going to grab our brush, and we're just going to bring it to the crown of the head. And it doesn't have to be perfect, 'cause that also gives us a little more of the flirty look. And make sure you keep a little volume in the top. Then we're going to seal it with our elastic, and just for a little emphasis, I'm going to pull back here, and just pull out a little in the front. Then we're going to go back with our hairspray and just get rid of a little bit of our flyaways. And as you can see, in just a few simple steps, a little teasing, an elastic and you have a fun flirty pony tail. And that's how you take your hair from work to night. I'm Jessica Liparoto, thanks for watching.
