- Hi I'm Jhizet Panosian celebrity makeup artist. And today I'm going to show you how to wear a nude lip. With our model Casey here we've already given her a very high intensity dramatic smoky eye. So I want to downplay her lips a little by taking out some of the reds and the pink undertones in her lips by using a concealer. And giving it a slight shimmer using a gloss. To achieve this look I'm going to use L'Oreal Paris True Match Concealer in light medium. And also use L'Oreal Paris Infallible Lip Gloss in Sunset. So you want to take a little bit of the concealer and put just a little drop on the back of your hand or a flat surface. And take a very small flat concealer brush and just dab a little bit on the lips to really neutralize any of those reds or pinks that we all tend to have as an undertone to our lips. But since we are going for a nude look we want no color on the lip at all. Next I'm going to take the lip gloss and apply the same amount to the back of my hand. You can also use the applicator which fits perfectly right into the bows of the mouth. But I'm actually going to use a lip brush. And start with the center of the lip. So you just want to work in the center of the mouth and work outward. And as you can see we are not really bringing in a lot of color because we still want the highlight of the face to be the eyes. And we are just down playing the lips a little. So with Casey we just muted out her lip with a concealer and brought in a little bit of shine using a very natural lip gloss.
