- Hi, I'm Kendra Richards, professional makeup artist, and today I'm going to show you how to wear eye makeup like celebrities. Whenever you see a celebrity being photographed they generally really play up their eyes. They're the most expressive feature of the face and you get so much impact by having a beautiful full lash. I'd like to show you how to use eyeliner and mascara to really create that celebrity look. We're going to start with the Hypnose Mascara by Lancome. This mascara gives you really full, flirty lashes. Now I'm going to apply multiple coats of mascara because that is the way you get this effect and I concentrate the majority of that mascara at the base of the lashes. It really gives a fullness and a depth that you can't get if you pull it all the way up through the lashes. That will just weight them down. It's also important to make sure that you allow the coats of mascara to dry in between each coat. Okay, and you can see already in one coat she's got so much volume. Now I'm through with the second coat of mascara. I love how full her lashes are. Now I'm going to finish with an eyeliner. This look is a celebrity staple go to eyeliner look. You get great impact with this felt tip liner that just gives a very clean finish and look. This really adds even more thickness to the lashes. It can be worn as a thick line or a thin line depending on the effect that you're going for. So I'm just finishing up with a little bit of mascara on the bottom lashes and this combination of eyeliner and mascara are a timeless Hollywood classic staple.
