- Hi, I'm Kendra Richards, professional makeup artist and today I'm going to give you a few waterproof makeup tips. Waterproof makeup is one of those simple things that gives you such peace of mind. Say you've got a day at the beach, or you've got a long day and you don't want to have to worry about your makeup or say it's humid out and you don't want your, you don't want raccoon eyes throughout the day. I'm going to show you a few tips to keep your makeup in place throughout the day whatever it is you're doing. So to get started I'm going to use Definicils Waterproof Mascara by Lancome. What I love about mascara, it really wakes up the face. This is a simple way to look very natural and not highly made up. Look at what just a couple of coats can do. You can even just see the difference, one eye versus the other. It's really powerful and the waterproof formula will take you throughout the day whether you're at the beach, if it's a humid day. This is a great tip if you have high cheekbones and if you find that when you smile that you get those sort of raccoon eyes or you get that mascara bleed under the eyes. Waterproof mascara is a perfect solution. This is a perfect mascara to use for a very natural look. This lengthens, separates the lashes. You can see the difference. How this mascara delivers the length, the separation and definition that you want. A few other waterproof makeup tips are to begin with a waterproof makeup eyeshadow primer. This will be the perfect base to layer your eyeshadows on top of, that will keep them in place all day no matter what you're doing. And then, for cheeks, what really works great is either a cream blush or a cheek stain. And then one final tip for lips, a waterproof lip liner is the perfect solution. You fill in the entire lip area with the lip liner, you could put a little gloss over that and you're set. Well there you go. Those are my waterproof makeup tips. I'm Kendra Richards. Thanks for watching.
