Hi I'm Caile Noble, celebrity hairstylist and today I'm going to show you how to use a round brush to curl your hair. So if you want to achieve curling your hair but you don't have a curling iron, you can easily do so by using a round brush. The only thing is you want to make sure you're using the right size round brush and a product. Today we're going to be using the Garnier Fructis Curl Construct Mousse. So in order for the product work properly you're going to want to dampen the hair. So I've already gone down and previously dampened Tracy's hair. Now what you're going to do is just grabbing little pieces of the hair, get some of the mousse in your hand, work it into the ends, more like the mids to the ends, combing it through with your fingers. Now the key thing to know is that this product is going to give the hair memory and bounce when using the round brush in conjunction with your blow dryer. So just be sure to keep working it through the hair like such. What I like to do is at the very end, just grab a small little amount and just with your hands, work it right through that front bit like so. Before you begin, section off the hair from the front and the back like so. Once you do that, clip the hair away so that it doesn't interfere with the section you're going to work on, then, taking a horizontal section, clip the existing hair out of the way and go in with your brush. Now this is a finer section but I'm going to use this just so I can show you really how to get the achieved look. You're going to want to be using a one inch round brush and of course your blow dryer. However, take your nozzle off so it's not as complicated for you because when you're at home, finding that right angle with the nozzle can sometimes be difficult and frustrating. So go in and make sure you have the nozzle pointed down the hair shaft or not the nozzle, the tip of the dryer and when you do, follow it all the way down and when you get down to the very end, wrap the hair back up the brush and then just heat it in place. You'll see as I do it here. Once you're in this position, you're just going to let the dryer do the work for you, letting the hair to dry in that wound position so when you release it, you achieve a nice curl. As a little test strand, sometimes I'll drop the hair out just to touch it and make sure it's dry, however, it's not in this case so we're going to go ahead, put it back up there and finish the job. And as you can see, we're getting a curl by using our round brush and our blow dryer. This may look a little tedious, but in order to get the look, it's time well spent. Now moving from our second section, you can see, that we're definitely getting that same perfected curl using the round brush. So we've finished up the last piece and as you can see, I like to just kind of lightly twist the brush out of the hair so it gives it a little polish but keeping that nice bevel and what I like to do is just kind of go in and break the wave up a little bit or the curl we should say so that you have a little bit more of a softer, more natural look but if you do desire your hair to be a little bit more set looking you can leave it like this in the hopes that maybe it will fall a little through the night. I like to pull it out a little bit just so that it looks a little bit more undone and natural but trust me after putting that product in there, you're really going to still have bounce and curl. And there we have it. And that's how you use a round brush to curl hair. I'm Caile Noble. Thank you for watching.
