Hi, I'm Jeremy Clark, professional hairstylist and salon owner, and today I'm going to show you how to create tresses that flatter your face. A style that looks great with long hair and really flatters your face is to do sort of tight spiral curls using a curling iron. You can see Sarah's hair has a little bit of texture to it, has a lot of length to it. I'm just going to add to that using the curling iron and it will really dress up your look. So the tools you'll need are a rat tail comb, a small barrel curling iron, some clips and a spray gel. Today, I'm going to use the Garnier Fructis Curl Sculpting Gel. So I'm going to section Sarah's hair from the top to the back of the ear and I'm going to be taking sections about two inches thick. I'm going to start at the bottom and then I'm actually going to be curling her hair vertically. I'll show you what I mean by that. So we're going to take the iron, wrapping the hair really loosely around the barrel of the iron like a barber pole, not too tight and letting it drop. So taking a little bit of our gel, spray it in your hand, break it down, just make sure the water evaporates a little bit and the gel is really going to help form the curls and keep the curl styled and it also protects the hair from heat and curling vertically away from the face. And just finishing up our waves here. I've rolled everything away from the face. So once the hair is cool you can take a little bit of product on your fingertips and just kind of rake through the ends and kind of break those curls up a little bit. You can actually do this on all hair types and it works great on fine hair to thick curly hair. With curlier hair it's a great way to relax those curls and with straighter hair it's a great way to add a little body to the hair. So you can see the final look now that I've broken up all those curls, it looks really full and glamorous and there is tons of body and movement. And you can really see how this flatters Sarah's face. This is a universal look that anyone can wear and it looks great. And that's how to create a hairstyle that flatters the face. I'm Jeremy Clark. Thanks for watching.
