- Hi I'm Tara Shakespeare, celebrity makeup artist. Today I'm going to show you some top shimmery makeup looks. There are a number of ways that you can use shimmery makeup to really brighten your makeup looks. You can use a shimmery bronzer to highlight your cheekbones. You can use shimmer eye shadow to really make your eyes pop and dazzle, but a great accessible way is to use a glittery lip gloss. And today on Taylor I'm going to be using L'Oreal Paris Infallible Never Fail lip gloss and blush. So to apply the lip gloss we're going to use a flat lip liner brush. Just get some of the product on the back of my hand. Normally when I'm applying lipstick I like to take a little bit of concealer and just take away the natural lip color so that whatever lip color you're applying really becomes true. But in Taylor's case, her lips are really beautiful pink so this pink blush shimmer lip gloss should really accentuate her natural tone. So again just going to start by applying at the center of the bottom lip and working out. And you can already see it's creating a really nice glitter shimmery highlight. Take a little but more product for the top. And just work it out to the edges. Because this is such a light color, you don't have to line it forehand, you don't need any pencils, you can just apply it straight away. This is a great thing if you've been out all day and you really want to unpop your makeup for the evening is to use a lip gloss like this. And so there you have it. It's a top shimmery makeup look.
