- Hi, I'm Stevi Christine, professional make-up artist, and I'm going to show you my four favorite plum lip colors. Today on Chelsea, I'm going to be using L'Oreal Paris Colour Riche Lipcolour. So, I put a few of my favorite shades on my hand. Here we have a deep rich plum. It's great for nighttime, but it's also good for olive skin tones. Maybe brunettes would rock this color really well. Here we have a little bit more of a sheer color, which would be great for light, blonds, blue eyes. Even Lauren could wear this color beautifully, as well. Here we have a really deep, deep eggplant plum. It's definitely a nighttime color, but it's great to glam any outfit out. But today we're going to use a very sheer mauvy purple on Lauren, which is great, not only for daytime, but also for night. So, as you can see, this color is just an instant pop on Lauren. This is a really beautiful soft fleshy plum color, which is great on Lauren. Plums are an excellent choice for fall, because most of us tend to be a little bit more pale or lighter skin, fair skin. So, this just adds a nice touch. If you have a darker skin tone, I would definitely go a little bit warmer, a little darker, a little deeper in the plum. But this, for example, for Lauren, fits her perfectly. You should keep the eye color very soft when you wear plum. Gold is gorgeous. Neutrals are gorgeous. Even a really pretty silver would be amazing, especially for any holiday parties that you have. So, we finished our plum lip on Lauren and I think it's plum-tastic.
