Hi, I'm Tara Shakespeare, celebrity makeup artist. Today I'm going to give you some tips on how to keep your eyeliner sweat proof. When you're out on the town having a good time, the last thing you want is smudgy eyeliner. So a good way to keep it waterproof and water resistant is to conceal your eyelid really quite full before you start your makeup and then powder it and then you can do one line of eyeliner and then you can powder over the top of that and do it again. Also, if you choose an eyeliner that is fairly waterproof or has good staying tendencies something that's like long wear and also then use waterproof mascara. That's a good way of keeping your eyeliner sweat proof. So today on Alina I'm going to use L'Oreal Paris Infallible Never Fail Eyeliner in Carbon Black. So to really make Alina's eyeliner stay put, I'm going to conceal her eyelids first. So if you'll just close your eyes. This just gives a really good base for the eyeliner to work with. Just using a, like a pointed wedge. Then I'm going to take a brush with a little bit of powder on it and then just dust lightly over her eyelids. So putting a coat of translucent powder over the concealer that I've already applied will really give a good base for the eyeliner to stick to. It'll hopefully make it last a lot longer. So, just going to take the eyeliner and just roughly draw it just along her eyelid. Just along her lash line. Keeping really close to her lashes and then I'm going to take a smudging brush. Softening that line that I've just drawn. Just to give it a softer smoky look. So once you've done one liner line, you can then powder it again just to set it and go over it once more. Open. Set it with a light bit of translucent powder just one more time. Then go over with the eyeliner pencil just one more time. Just build up the intensity. So this is a great thing to do if you like to wear eyeliner in the day and you want it to last all day. If you do this then it's got a better chance of staying. Down towards me. Don't forget to take it, look down that line, don't forget to take it right into the corners. So if you want to make your eyeliner last really a long time and make it sweat proof, you just conceal, powder, line, powder and then line it once more. That'll see you right through the holiday. So there you have it. There's some ways to make your eyeliner sweat proof. I'm Tara Shakespeare. Thanks for watching.
