- Hi, I'm Jhizet Panosian, celebrity makeup artist. Today, we're going to be talking about summer makeup foundations for oily skin. So in the summer, it's really important it's really important to keep your skin clean. You're in the sun a lot, you're doing activities outside... your pores can tend to get really clogged with sweat and dirt. For Katie today, we're actually going to be using a mineral foundation with a velvety, powdery finish that really minimizes oil on the skin. For Katie's skin today, we're going to be using L'Oreal's True Match Naturale mineral foundation. To start your application, just remove the lid. This product actually comes with a brush on its own that you can use, but I'm actually going to use my own foundation brush today. And you want to tap in a little bit of the product into the cap. And remember: with mineral foundation, a little goes a long way. And just take a large fluffy foundation brush with synthetic bristles at the end, just twirl it inside the lid. Give it a little tap to get rid of any excess, and start start at the center of the forehead and in small circular motions, just buff the product out. And you want to remember in the summer, especially, if you have oily skin the T-zone, right here, and right around the lip is where most people tend to get really oily, so just make sure you're really working the product right around that line. And because this isn't a liquid or a cream, it already has a velvety finish to it, so it sits on the skin and sets like a powder. Now that I've applied Katie's mineral foundation, I'm going to go through and just set the entire face with a little bit of translucent powder. Just place the powder right at the T-zone, especially if you're oily, you tend to get oily right at the T-zone, just make sure you press the product right onto the skin. Don't sweep it away, because you're just going to wipe it off. Just get underneath the eyes. And remember, you can use your two fingers, bend your tool, and get really underneath the lash line. And there you go! That's how you apply mineral foundation for a summer look for oily skin. I'm Jhizet Panosian, and thanks for watching.
