- Hi I'm Caile Noble, celebrity hairstylist and today I'm going to show you how to straighten wavy hair without a hair straightener. As you can see, Tracy has wavy hair and you're probably wondering how are we going to straighten this without a straightener. Well it's quite easy. We're going to use a brush and a blow dryer. However, you're going to want to do a few steps first. One is take the flat brush and just brush out that hair so there's no tangles in it. Then you're going to want to go in with a product. The product we're going to use is the Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine Smoothing Milk. So place some product in your hand, work it through and then apply it to the hair. Now in order to get it shiny and smooth and straight, we're going to put it in the hair but just from the mids to the ends. So just work it through with your hands, kind of lightly dispersing it throughout the hair. Go right into the hairline and just work it in there as well. Once you have it in the hair, you can start blow drying. I'm going to go ahead and section the hair off so that we can work a little cleaner. So once I get the back sectioned off, I'm going to go right into the front. Having a product in the hair is going to be nice because as I can get tension to pull the hair straight, it's also going to polish the hair making it shiny. You're going to want to point the blow dryer in a downward position and simultaneously pull the hair out as you're working down the root. So when you do this you're going to polish the hair and pull it straight. Let's give it a try. We have nice straight hair after one pass. So work smarter, not harder, taking smaller sections is going to actually be beneficial in the long run. Therefore you're not fighting the hair, the hair is working for you. Taking the smaller sections, you'll be able to blow it out cleaner and straighter. And as you can see, two sections in we've gone from wavy to straight without using a straightener. I'm going to go ahead and continue throughout the hair and we'll meet up at the end to show you the final look. As you can see we've finished off the rest of the hair and it's looking nice and shiny but most of all it's looking straight by using a blow dryer and a round brush. So what I'm going to do is I'm just going to take a little bit more of the product and I'm just going to go ahead and pat down any flyaways and grab those ends just to give it a little polish.
