- Celebrity hairstylist, David Dang here showing you three easy hairstyles for back to school. So I'm going to show you three easy hairstyles. The first is going to be a bun, the second is going to be a romantic sweeping to the side ponytail and the third is going to be a Bohemian pullback. So the tools that you'll need clips, hair ties, combs, a brush and a finishing spray. The spray that I'll be using today is going to be the L'Oreal Paris Studio Line Mega Spritz. Let's get started. So what we're going to be doing is we're going to section the hair and you'll use your comb. We're going to turn her to either side where you'll want to start and this can be slightly different. I've already sectioned her in the middle is where you want to start so then what you're going to do is you're going to section behind the ear, take her, go ahead and start to part where you're going to do a braid. Once you have three sections to start, braid. Then you'll start braiding her hair. It doesn't have to be tight, loose is good. Again this look is for the effortless, just really really quick. Alright, once you braid your hair, now, you'll see this braid on Lauren. This is easy for any type of textured hair, coarse, fine, medium, alright. Now once you've tied it, go ahead and side sweep this part over. Section the front a little bit. I usually do a little bit of a diagonal so that I can sweep it back, just leave that part out so we're going to add a little bit of a braid there, a loose braid. Take this side, move your hair over, while using your brush, move it all over and down, it doesn't have to be too perfect, use your hands, do that. Now here's where the magic happens. You're going to take two of your sides, one braided, one not and go ahead and put them together, creating a massive force. So you see your hair here, what you're going to do is go ahead and, so, now that you have your bun, just go ahead and put a couple hairpins in there, that's the loose pins, just to tighten it up a little bit, perfect. Now you have your bun, really quick and simple. Then you're going to move her to this side and now we have a little bit of a sectioning to complete off of here. The reason why I left this off is because you can have your regular bun, you know, a little bit boring but if you want to just jazz it up a little bit more, go in and put a loose braid over here. Usually celebrities like Kate Hudson, Rachael McAdams, they love to put these braids in. Sometimes Vanessa Hudgens, just do a quick braid, again it doesn't have to be the neatest. These are quick hairstyles that you can do for your school, perfect. So once you get this in, you're just going to loosen it up by texturing it. Go ahead and get in there, just kind of give it a little but if a juzh. See how that's loose, just for a little bit more texture. Then you just wrap that around, keep it loose and then put it into your bun. Just hide that little last fishtail part but as you can already tell, it's beautiful and then for her front, you see that she has, I left that bang there so that she can accent her face a little bit more because Lauren is very beautiful. And now I'm going to show you the romantic side part pony. So now I'm going to show you how to do a romantic side part ponytail, really simple. So what we're going to do is we're going to section her hair back again from the crown area back, just giving her a slight volume on the crown. Once again, section the top, just tease a little bit, some of that back combing. Great, just two is good and you can already see a little bit of a lift. It depends on what side you want, you can use the right, left, middle. I chose to do the middle part for Lauren and just sweep it to the side. So, use your hair tie and then wiggle wiggle up, wiggle up for height. Again it doesn't have to be all uniformed. So just take some of that and pull some of it up. To hide the hair tie, go ahead and take a section, probably preferably a longer portion of a section of your ponytail and wrap it around, wrap it around. Go ahead and take a hairpin and then tuck that up there. Then go ahead and hide your little fishtail and you can see that she has a nice ponytail, romantic and then you can actually take a little bit out of the front to give it a little bit more texture, more frame around the face, depending on what you're looking for. Go ahead and twist it around and there you have it, a romantic side swept ponytail and so for our final look we're going to be doing a Bohemian pullback. So to get the look started I'm going to start with a braid. So I've already started with a little braid just to accent the hairpiece a little bit. You'll see what I'm talking about. So what I'm going to do is go ahead and section the hair back, give her that carefree look and then I'm going to use as my corners, the temples of her head right here. Take that back, grab a couple of the pieces, take this and I'm going to go ahead and twist, it's okay to have it messy again, just twist because we'll fix that when we're done. And twist this a little bit in the back, just to add the texture and the fluidity of the hair. Here we are, right there, almost like a little crown. Then you're going to take your hairpins and you're just going to pin those up in an X movement. And so she can have her hair flowing down from her. Then once again, just take a little couple pieces and pull that down and you can move any of these up and if you want to move this up too you can use your clips. So you don't have to mess up exactly what you did but still giving the height that you need. And then now you have your braid, a couple pieces coming down and you can pull this to the front. Alright and go ahead and spritz for shine, control and wow, it's so beautiful. There you have it, three easy hairstyles for a back to school look. This is David, celebrity hairstylist. We'll see you soon.
