- Hi, I'm Louis Santalices, celebrity hairstylist, and today I will be showing you how to get a bend to your bangs without a curling iron. And to get started, all you're going to need is a round brush, a blow dryer with a nozzle, and some product. And to get the look, I'm going to use Out of Bed texturizer by L'Oreal. So what I want to do is I want to section out the bang area. I do want to keep that center parting, so I have it parted here, but I want to section this area out and just put the hair in my round brush, all the way from beginning to the end, I'm just going to roll it back like you do if you were to set it with a roller. Hit the bang area with the blow dryer. And you just want to keep on repeating this until you get a good amount of heat on the hair. It's really important to really get control of the ends and bending the hair back. And this is really ideal if you have bangs or short layers and you want to control the hair just to get it off your face. And after you feel that you've gotten a good amount of heat on there, go ahead and set it with the cold button on the blow dryer. And if you don't have the cold setting, you can go ahead and just hold the bangs until they have cooled down, and then go ahead and direct everything back. And that's how you get a nice sweep on bangs or short layers. And as a final step, I like to add a little bit of product for memory and texture. And there we go. That's how to get a slight bend in your bangs without a curling iron. I'm Louis Santalices and thank you for watching.
