- Hi my name is Hilda Levierge and I'm a professional makeup artist. Today I'm going to show you how to apply moisturizing tinted lip balm. Applying lip balm is a great way to keep your lips soft and moisturized and healthy and it's always an added bonus when you can apply lip balm that has a little hint of color in it. It's going to really waken up your face but still give you a really natural look, the no makeup look. So a tinted lip balm is really great if you are going to the gym or you're camping or you're you know, in a place where makeup is not necessarily appropriate to be wearing. I also like to use a lip balm that has an SPF in it that's really important and when you use a tinted lip balm that has an SPF you're not only going to get a little hint of natural color, sun protection, moisturizer, the whole package, so it's a really great thing. It's one of my favorite things to use and I really love a natural look, a natural beauty and a tinted lip balm is a great way to get that look. Today on Marie, I'm going to be using Maybelline Baby Lips SPF 20 Lip Moisturizing Balm and the color I chose is cherry me. You're just going to apply straight out of the tube and just open your lips a bit and we're going to start at the top of the upper lip and just work our way down to the middle of the bottom lip and then just follow the lip around and back up to the top to joint it. So that's one coat and that's going to give a little hint of color and now I'm going to put on another coat with just a little bit more color. It's basically just enhancing the natural color of Marie's lips and just making them a little bit more vibrant. So you can't even tell that she's wearing lip balm. So it's a great way to achieve a really natural look or to get that makeup in when you're really not supposed to be wearing makeup like at the gym or first thing in the morning when you wake up but you still want to look alive. So there you have it, that's how you apply a tinted moisturizing lip balm. Thanks for watching. I'm Hilda Levierge.
