- Hi I'm Kendra Richards, professional makeup artist, and today I'm going to show you how to do dewy romantic makeup. The key elements to this dewy romantic look are foundation with a dewy glow, flush cheek color and beautiful flirty lashes. So to start this look I'm going to use Teint Miracle in Buff 5 by Lancome. So to begin with I'm going to put one pump onto my hand I'd like to use as little foundation as possible. I'm going to create a dewy glow and that will be the perfect canvas for a soft romantic look. As you can see I'm starting the center points of her face and blending out, using a brush to feather the makeup up and out, a soft romantic dewy look requires a foundation that gives you a glow and a dewy finish. You don't want a matte, you don't want a matte finish foundation. You want to make sure you've got something that gives a radiance and a dewiness like this and you want to make sure you're blending underneath. So now that I've finished the foundation I'm going to give her a flush cheek with a bright pink but sheer blusher. I load the brush, tap the excess off and then I'm going to, the positioning of this is the key point. I'm going to put this right in the center, now smile big for me, there you go, right on the center of the cheek right here. That gives that soft romantic dewy glow that's radiating from inside. It doesn't look like it's a blusher. A fun trick I love to use with blush too and it's perfect for this romantic look is to just put a sweep of this as well on the eyelid, go ahead and close, perfect, just a quick sweep. It adds a beautiful brightness and a lift to the face and it helps carry that look down from her eyes to her cheeks. See how beautiful that is? We're going to finish now with mascara, that is all you need to create a beautiful romantic look, look down, perfect, so I start at the base and I wiggle up because what I want to do is add the volume and then as I pull the brush up, I add the length but you want to make sure that you're starting at the bottom and wiggling up to get that wonderful volume down at the base. It helps to define the eye and then it separates as you pull it through and lengthens each lash so you've got more definition. To complete the look I'm going to give her a beautiful clear gloss and then she's set to go. Gloss like this is all you need to complete a dewy romantic look. Look at that, that's just beautiful. So there you go, that's how to do dewy romantic makeup. I'm Kendra Richards, thanks for watching.
