- Hi, I'm celebrity makeup artist, Chantal Moore, and today I'm going to show you how to get rid of dark acne spots and bumps. Today, I'm using Dermablend Quick Fix concealer. So, I'm going to use my ringer finger and I'm going to very lightly layer this concealer on Joanna's skin. You can see right here that she has a little bit of blemishes popping up and I'm just going to dab that right directly onto this area. I'm just going to tap this in right here and you can see immediately the transformation taking place and just the evening out of the skin tone and the coverage. Right here on Joanna's face you can see that she has a little bit of discoloration, a few spots right here and I'm just going to dab some concealer into this area and again you can see this going right to work. You can see the transformation just light coverage but smoothing out the appearance of these dark spots. Now a concealer like this you can virtually use for any of your skin discoloration needs, acne, freckles, scarring that you might have, any sort of uneven skin tone. This concealer will take care of all of those needs. And it's literally just targeting these specific areas and adding the coverage and blending it out so that it appears as natural as possible. When you're applying the concealer you can layer for heavier coverage but you also can blend it out for lighter coverage if you don't want that much coverage on a freckle or a spot but again, literally just light layering will give you as much depth as you need in that coverage. One final tip that I'd like to give you about choosing a concealer is you definitely want to choose a formula that has a more matte finish. You don't want anything too shiny or too oily. You want it to absorb the light, not reflect the light. That's what you want in a coverage for a concealer. And you'll notice that this blemish that Joanna started off with here between her eyebrows has virtually disappeared. And that's how you get rid of dark acne spots and bumps. I'm Chantal Moore. Thank you for joining.
