Hi I'm Jessica Liparoto, celebrity hairstylist, and today I'm going to give you a few tips on how to repair damaged hair. In my line of work every day I see over processed hair, frizzy hair, damaged hair, the ends are dry. Today I'm going to give you advice universally whether you have thin hair, thick hair, coarse hair, blonds, darks, doesn't matter. These steps are going to help you to repair your damaged hair. First, I recommend visiting your hairstylist on a regular basis. I know you think getting a trim is going to take off the length but it's definitely going to make your hair grow faster, come in healthier and who doesn't like visiting their hairstylist. Number two, be kind to your hair. You don't have to shampoo every day. In fact shampooing every day does more damage for your hair than it does good. I know everybody wants to look like a Victoria's Secret model but second day hair is always better hair. So take a day off, don't curl your hair every day. All that heat that you're always putting on there, the flatiron, the blow drying, hot rollers, you're killing your hair. It's getting dehydrated, it gets damaged, take a break. And lastly, if you need an instant fix I highly recommend an overnight treatment. So to restore the health back to Ingrid's hair we used the L'Oreal Paris EverStrong Overnight Hair Repair Treatment. I definitely recommend using a treatment like this at least once a week. What's great about this product is it doesn't weight the hair down, it creates beautiful beautiful shine like on Ingrid's hair. If you're hurting your hair like I am, you definitely should make this part of your hair routine. So there you go, those are a few tips to help you restore damaged hair. I'm Jessica Liparoto. Thank you for watching.
