- Hi my name is Hilda Levierge and I'm a professional makeup artist. Today I'm going to show you how to apply blush for a natural look. Using blush is one of the best ways to give your face a quick pick me up. To make you look like you're glowing from within. I'm going to teach you how to apply it in a really natural way so it doesn't look like you're wearing makeup. But just like you're glowing from within and that you have healthy, beautiful skin. On Ali, I'm going to be using Maybelline Mineral Power Illuminator to just give her a little bit of shimmer and glow to her skin. So first what you want to do is just tap a little bit of product into the cap and then I'm going to take a brush and tap off the excess. Just swirl it into the cap like so, tap off the excess product and just smile Ali. So when she smiles, the apples of her cheeks are going to show up so that's just this little part right there and you're just going to apply the blush directly to the apples in a circular motion. So applying in a circular motion just to the apples of the cheeks, and then with the excess product, I'm just going to sweep up into the hairline. And that's actually going to give a really nice little highlight there on the cheekbone, which is really beautiful. I like this blush because it just has a hint of color on the cheekbone, which is really beautiful. I love this blush because it just has a hint of color and it has some nice, soft flux of shimmer in it so that when it catches the light you just look glowing and really dewy and beautiful. OK I'm going to do the other cheek. So this blush is really great, it's just meant to give you a really natural look with just a little tint of color, but mainly it just has some highlighting shimmer in it to just give you that beautiful, dewy glow.
