- Hi, I'm Jeremy Clark, Professional Hairstylist and Salon Owner. And today, we're going to talk to you about products that make your hair shiny, smooth and frizz-free all day. So, I've blow-dried Vanessa's hair using a shine serum which will help protect against sticky and then, just to finish it off and protect, protect it from frizz for the rest of the day, I'm going to use a little bit of a shine-spray and blow dry through it once more with a vented brush. So, today, I'll be using the Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine Anti Humidity Hairspray. And this is going to protect the hair from frizz; it puts a nice shine to the hair and it helps hold your style. So, just spray a little bit into the roots and then into the ends. One of the reasons hair gets frizzy during the day is humidity and so, there's moisture in the air and there could be moisture in your scalp and so, using a spray that has a anti-humidity shine to it will actually coat the hair and protect it from humidity and keep it from getting frizz. Now that the hairspray's in, I'm just going to blow dry through with a large vented brush. So, I'll be using a blow dryer with a nozzle and that will help direct the flow there and keep it from roughing up your hair. I'm going to spray a little bit more and right before I'll blow dry through. It's important to use a vented brush because it won't de-caught in the hair and it won't cause tangles. So, it easily distributes the products through the hair without causing anymore breakage. So, what happens is the, the spray's actually heat-activated and the heat will actually help distribute the product all the way through the hair and it help it bond to the hair and protect it throughout the day. So, we've finished spraying the hair and brushing through with the blow dryer and a vent brush and that's distributed the product all through the hair and it's going to protect you from frizz all day.
