- Hi, my name's Hilda Levierge, and I'm a professional makeup artist. Today, I'm going to show you what neutral lipstick colors to wear if you have blonde hair. So, I've chosen three color swatches of neutrals, and I'm just holding them up to Alana's skin. And, this one looks a little dark for her fair skin and light blonde hair. I really like this pink, and this one might have a little bit too much red and orange in it. So, I think we're going to go for this beautiful pink. So, this is Maybelline Color Sensational Pearls in Pearly Pink. And, I really think this is a universally flattering color for blondes. It's really neutral, can wear it with any makeup style. And, when you're applying lipstick, good thing to do first is exfoliate the lips with a wet washcloth or a toothbrush, get off any dead skin. And then, apply a little bit of lip balm to soften your lips. And then, go ahead and apply your lipstick. So, you start at the top, come around, down, and then back up around. You can have a really nice sheer coat, or you can apply a little bit extra for a little bit more depth. This is really pretty because it's already got a little bit of a sparkle to it, so I'm not going to bother applying any gloss. I think it's just got a really nice shimmer already. So, when you have really blonde hair, really fair skin, you just have to be careful not to wear too much makeup, because you don't want to look overdone. So, with a nice neutral lip color, you can pair it with a really soft smoky eye, or a really neutral eye will look pretty. Or, you can just leave the eyes bare, put on some pink blush, and rock this lipstick, and you're ready to go. So, there you go. That's a great neutral lipstick choice if you have blonde hair.
