- Hi, I'm Amy Hollier, and I'm a celebrity makeup artist. Today, I'm going to show you how to create natural looking eyes with makeup. So, if it is natural eye makeup look, we basically just want to brighten and open up the eyes. I'm going to start by taking a little concealer. You can apply it with the applicator, or you can use your finger. I also like to just use a little flat brush, so that I can get really precise right under the eye. So, when you apply the concealer, you just want to go right to the darkest area under the eye, which is normally right in here. And then, just take your finger and lightly blend it out, you can always add a little bit more. Once you conceal the under eye area, you want to go ahead and curl the lashes and apply mascara. Now, if you look straight ahead and slightly down, you can get the lash curler right there at the base of the lashes. And then, just give it a gentle pump, great. So, now, I'm just going go ahead and take some mascara. I really love the Maybelline Great Lash in waterproof, because it lasts all day. I'm going to go ahead and take the brush and start at the very base of the eyelashes. Wiggling it back and forth to really coat the lashes evenly, open, beautiful. Next, I'm going to add just a little bit of eyeliner, almost say, you can't see it, but just to thicken the base of her eyelashes. I'm going to use a waterproof dark brown color, you could also use a black or a slate, anything that isn't too loud or obvious. So, when I apply the eyeliner, I just like to do it in tiny, little strokes. And then, go back with my finger, and blend it altogether, open. That way, it has a very natural, subtle finish. Now, I'm going to go on and fill in her brows, just to finish off her eye. Your eyebrows really frame your face and your eyes. So, even if you're doing a very natural makeup look, you still want to make sure that they're defined. So, I'm just using a very light pencil, you could also use a brow powder, if you wanted to, just to give it a little more definition. And then, my last step, I'm going to use a little bit of a clear balm, just on the lids. This is going to give her eyes a beautiful shine, close your eyes. I love using a clear balm on the eyelid, it's a great trick to making your eyes pop. You just want to make sure that you use a waterproof mascara and a waterproof eyeliner, so that nothing creases. So, this is how you create a really polished, natural eye makeup look. And nobody even has to know that you're wearing eye makeup. I'm Amy Hollier, thanks for watching.
