- Hi, I'm Caile Noble, celebrity hair stylist, and today I'm going to show you how to moisturize extremely dry hair. As you can see on Elena's hair, it's very dry, and actually has a bit of frizz going on as well. So the thing is is you know this could have definitely been the result of using hot tools. I'm going to go ahead and say maybe even a coloring of the hair. These are all things that you can relate to at home. And what's important is when you're cleansing the hair to be using a moisturizing shampoo. Something that's really going to replenish the hair shaft and restore that natural hair. A great shampoo to use is the Garnier Fructis moisture works shampoo. Not only does this product have citrus extracts, but it has B vitamins. These vitamins and extracts are going to leave your hair moisturized, leaving it shiny, replenishing whatever has been lost from those heat tools. When you do cleanse your hair with this shampoo, you also want to make sure you're following it up with a great cleanser. And the moisture works line also provides a cleanser that will also be great to follow up in the cleansing process to replenish and give even more moisture and shine to the hair. A few other tips you may want to do. Get that hair trimmed regularly so you can really get rid of these frayed ends. And stay away from the heat tools. But if you can't, make sure to use a thermal protectant before drying the hair so it protects the hair shaft. If you have dry hair, don't be discouraged, because it is treatable. Lean more towards the natural products, but at the same time, be sure that you're regularly conditioning and treating your hair. And there you go. That's how you moisturize extremely dry hair. I'm Caile Noble, thank you for watching.
