Hi, I'm Jhizet Panosian, celebrity makeup artist. And today I'm going to show you how to use mineral makeup if you have oily skin. If you have oily skin I recommend using a mineral foundation which will allow you to have an even coverage and leave your skin with a velvety finish. And it will still allow your skin to shine through without looking too cakey and too dull. With Colleen I'm just going to use a mineral foundation to really hit up her T zone and minimize the oil but still give her an even complexion. And for that I'm going to use L'Oreal Paris True Match Natural Mineral Foundation. To use this product you just remove the lid and this product actually comes with a brush. But I'm not going to use the brush today. I'm going to use my own foundation brush. And all you do is you just tap a little bit of it into the lid. A little goes a long way with mineral foundation. And I'm going to use a large fluffy foundation brush with synthetic bristles. I'm just going to roll it in and really load up the brush with the product and tap any excess off. And start with the center of her forehead and just in small circular motions buff the product out towards the outer corners of the face. And if you have oily skin you want to make sure to prep your skin with an oil free moisturizer or a primer to get your skin ready for a foundation. And just work it all the way down. You want to make sure to work it down the neck and down the decoteau to give yourself an even coverage. When using a mineral foundation you want to make sure to really concentrate on the T zone which is the area right above the forehead and right around the nose working your way down. Cause that's where a lot of people tend to get really oily. As you can see Colleen already has an even complexion with a very light powdery finish. Now that I've applied Colleen's foundation I'm going to set her look with a very light translucent powder hitting the T zone to minimize any oil on the skin. And this is also a very good way to touch up through out the day so instead of really touching up foundation you can carry around a light or pressed powder and just dab a little throughout the day to minimize any excess oil. And there you go. And that's how to use mineral makeup for oily skin. I'm Jhizet Panosian and thanks for watching.
