- Hi, my name is Taylor Babaian, I'm a celebrity makeup artist, and today I'm going to show you metallic makeup looks for New Year's Eve. So shimmer's a great way to bring out the festivities of New Year's Eve. So for us to create that really intense eye, we're going to use a little bit of silver shimmer, with a little bit of purple and black liner to create a really intense eye. so to get Taylor's New Year's Eve look, we're going to use L'Oreal Paris HiP Studio Secrets Professional Crystal Duo in Charming. So we're going to start off with a nice intense shimmer in like a soft taupe violet at the base of the eye. And we're just going to pat that on to make sure that we just get a real intense pigment. And look up for me. I'm going to do a little bit on the inner corner of the eye, and underneath. I'm going to use the other side of my little eyeshadow pad. Start off with a little bit of the dark purple to put in the outer corners. It's New Year's Eve, so really have fun with your color. Choose those colors that you would never normally wear during the year. So I'm just adding a little bit of water to my sponge, and then dipping it in my purple, just to really get that intense look, 'cause I really do want that festive holiday look, especially for New Years. It's really going to help to bring out all the color, and make it really nice and bright. So we finished Taylor's really beautiful glamorous New Year's Eve eye. We started off with a nice little shimmer at the base, a light shimmer, and then of course wet it, got the intense violet of the outside corners, and a little bit on the inner. Look up for me. And then we mirrored that on the bottom lash line, and then added a little bit of the purple intense eye liner, and then applied mascara to the top and bottom lash, and you have a great New Year's Eve look.
