- Hi, I'm Louis Santelices, celebrity hairstylist. And today, I'm going to show you medium hairstyles with bangs. For those of you, who have bangs, and they're starting to grow out, and you don't really know what to do. I'm going to show you a couple options that you have. It's really simple, all you're going to need are, some bobby pins, a comb and some styling product. And today, I'll be using L'Oreal Paris Elnett Satin Hairspray, strong hold. O.k., so to begin, I'm going to take the bangs. And I'm going to create almost like, a side parting. And what you're going to do, is just simply take a section and drop all this out. And take a small section, and you're going to grab from underneath. Take just a small piece of hair, and bring it back. And it's just kind of like you're twisting it back, away from your face, take another piece. And you're just going to continue taking small pieces and bringing it back into what you have in your hand. And it almost looks like it's braided, but it's not. And you're just going to continue taking pieces until you run out. And then, what you could do is, either you can do it tight, or you can kind of just do it loose, I prefer it loose. You can just take a piece of hair from the top section out of the way. And just take a couple of bobby pins. And to secure it, I'm going to use two, take one and then, take another one and you're going to cross them. So, that way, we just know that it's secure and it's not going anywhere. And you just allow that hair just to kind of fall over. And that looks really good, it's really easy, stylish. And that's one of our options that we have. O.k., the second option we have, is that we're going to pull the hair back, away from the face, creating like a nice pompadour. And if your bangs tend to be longer, I want you to go ahead and section the hair. I always like to section, kind of like from the middle of the eyes. And that's going to be the section that you're going to need for this look. And so, I'm going to start here, back of the head. And I'm going to take my comb and back comb it in the direction that I want this to go. Take just small, really small sections, lifting it up and back combing it. And then, what we're going to do is, just take some hairspray to secure this. And you can use a bobby pin, or any sort of like hair accessory that you may have. So, I have everything going back, teased, I put a little bit of hairspray. I'm going to take my hair accessory, and just pin down the bang area. And there you have it, that's how to wear your hair in different ways, if you have medium length hair. I'm Louis Santelices, and thank you for watching.
