- Hi, my name is Taylor Babaian, I'm a celebrity makeup artist and today I'm going to show you makeup for really oily skin. So when you have really oily skin one of the things I like to do instead of foundation which actually can kind of slide off the face is use mineral powder. So as you can see Angelina's skin is slightly oily but we're going to matte that down with some natural powder. So to get Angelina's look we're going to use L'Oreal Paris True Match Naturale Mineral Powder in soft sable. So when you're choosing mineral powders especially like with skin tones like Angelina, where you have 2 different skin tones, you have a little bit darker in the forehead, a little lighter in the center. I like to duplicate that with the same thing with the mineral powder. Using a darker mineral powder for the forehead and a lighter one for the center of the face. So we're going to start with our darker, you basically just want to get a little bit kind of break it down on your hand just by rubbing it onto your hand just so you get a light application and then we're just going to apply it onto the forehead, kind of swirling it on. Now we're going to still continue applying the darker on the cheek area, kind of like using the excess powder and we're just going to fade in to the jaw line. So you're going to get your most amount of pigment at the cheekbone area and then fade it in to the jaw line. So if you're really oily maybe one of the things to do is keep your moisturizer on at night, during the day maybe just use your sunscreen that way you're not constantly piling oil on top of oil. Now we're going to go in with our lighter color and we're going to focus just on the center of the face. Again, kind of break it down into the hand, just do a little bit on the center, you want some natural highlights, putting those natural highlights back into the face. So Angelina naturally has darker color on the forehead, along the cheeks as a lot of darker women do and then lighter underneath the eyes. So when you're applying mineral powder you want to really consider that and apply 2 different colors just as you have naturally, otherwise it'll look too flat but if you were to just use the darker shade she would look to dark relative to how she naturally looks. If you use the lighter shade then the forehead would look really ashy so that's why I always find it essential to use 2 different colors. So Angelina looks fantastic, her skin looks nice and fresh and smooth and not oily, a little bit mattified but at the same time nice and sheer. So if you have oily skin, you're likely to have oily eyelids. So when you're choosing mascaras make sure you choose waterproof mascaras as well as waterproof eyeliners and it's actually really easy to take it off you just need to use waterproof eye makeup remover. So there you go that's how you do makeup for really oily skin. I'm Taylor Babaian, thanks for watching.
