- Hi, I'm Jhizet Panosian, celebrity makeup artist and today I'm going to give you some makeup ideas with brown and silver eye shadow. Normally, I wouldn't pick a brown and silver combination but since Colleen is wearing a beautiful silver and tape dress I think we can use those colors and give her a really interesting eye. To achieve this look today, I'm going to use L'Oreal Paris Studio Secrets Hip Eye Shadow duo. I'm going to use the lighter shade in this duo and hit the inner corners of her lids and use the darker ones to hit the outer corners of her eyes. I'm using a small fluffy eye shadow brush. I'm just going to load up the product onto my brush, get rid of any excess. I'm going to place the color starting with the center of her lid and working to the inner corner and you want to just bring in that color right up to the crease and feel free to use your ring finger to just blend that color outward. Next I'm going to take the dark color with a fluffy eye shadow brush, get rid of any excess placing it to the outer corners of her lids and working it into the crease and you want to use your ring finger to really marry those two colors together. And you want to make sure that your lid is prepped and primed with a little light foundation and a little hint of powder to really prep the skin for all the eye shadow that you're going to put on it. Now that I've got the darker color on her outer corners I'm going to use the same shade and pull it to the bottom of her lash line. And you just want to bring it in maybe about three quarters of the way in to the inner corner and again use your ring finger and really blend out that harsh line, blending it out to the outer corners and really complementing the top lash. For my final step I'm going to use a different duo with a silver shimmer and load it onto my brush and just bring it in to the inner corners of her top and lower lashes. And since there's such contrast between the two colors, this is where you really want to blend in and you can use your finger or you can use a blending brush to do so but you really want to give a nice graduation of the colors. So I've completed Colleen's look with two coats of black mascara. As you can see her unique eye combo really compliments her dress. And that's how to use a brown and silver eye shadow. I'm Jhizet Panosian and thank you for watching.
