- Hi, I'm Jhizet Panosian, celebrity makeup artist and today I'm going to give you some makeup ideas if you're wearing a brown dress. As you can see with Colleen we've already given her a very dramatic eye using really pretty golds and shimmery browns and we're going to tie in the color scheme using a sheer nude lip. Today I'm going to use L'Oreal Paris Infallible Lip Gloss. A quick little tip if you have natural reds and pinks in your lip you can use a light foundation and just with a sponge or even your fingers just really mute out that color and neutralize some of the pink so when you apply your gloss that's the only color that really comes through. Next I'm going to use a flat lip brush and pick up some of that color from the lip gloss and load it up onto my brush and start with the center of her lip and work the color out. And you just want to follow the natural shape of the lip and really deposit a lot of the color in the center of the lip. The reason I like using a lip brush is because the shape of the brush fits into the natural bow of the mouth and it just makes the application a lot easier. As you can see by keeping the lip bare we haven't taken away anything from the eyes and have really brought in some harmony into the color scheme with her makeup and her dress.
