- Hi I'm Tara Shakespeare, celebrity makeup artist. Today I'm going to show you how to conceal blemishes with makeup. When concealing blemishes, it's important to choose a product that's really highly pigmented be it foundation or concealer but to start with you really must make sure that your skin is clean. So to cover up the few little blemishes that Taylor has today I'm going to use L'Oreal Paris Infallible Corrector Concealer. So this concealer it's very highly pigmented and you can either apply it with a brush or with your fingertips and I like to apply it with a brush to start with so if you'd just turn your head. You'll see that Taylor has a few little pink spots here so we're just going to go over it with a concealer brush and you can already see it's disappeared but to soften any of the edges you can just tap it lightly with your finger and then reapply. You should go for a concealer that is the same skin tone as your unmade up face so that any blemishes just disappear. So if I'm concealing any blemishes I really like to go in and conceal them before I put any foundation on the rest of the face. She just has a couple on her cheeks and again just tap away any of the edges. It's just to soften the edges but without removing any of the product. Concealer is great for concealing a whole number of things be it sunspots, scarring, any blemishes, under eye circles. It's a really all around good product. And so you can see we've concealed all the blemishes that Taylor had which leads us into applying a foundation base but if you're happy with just concealer, just add a small amount of powder and then you're good to go. And so there you go. That's how to conceal blemishes with makeup. I'm Tara Shakespeare. Thanks for watching.
