Hi, I'm Tara Shakespeare, celebrity makeup artist. Today, I'm going to show you what makeup to use for extremely oily skin. So, when you have oily skin, it's all about the preparation. You need to use a good cleanser, and a toner and then, something underneath the foundation to control the oiliness. So, today on Emily, I'm going to be using L'Oreal's Magic Perfecting Base Face Primer. I'm actually going to apply it today, using my fingers. But you can use a brush or a sponge, or however you feel comfortable. I like to use my fingers, because it works into the skin much better. So, you need to apply a small amount to the T-zone area, where you become the most oiliest. So, just along the forehead, down the nose, on the chin and then, a little bit on each cheek. And then, just blend it up and out. And you can already see, it's quite mattifying. So, the object of a primer is to create a nice matte base for you to put your foundation on. It doesn't matter, what type of foundation you use. Again, if you've got oily skin, you should use something that doesn't contain oil in it. So, to finish the look on Emily, I'm going to use a liquid foundation. I'm going to apply it with a foundation brush, a flat foundation brush. And I use the foundation brush, just because it gives a nice, even coverage. And again, you don't want to use too much product, especially with oily skin, to keep it nice and light. Again, just taking up on the forehead, always working out. If you work from the center, outwards, it gives a smoother finish, and it lifts your skin, so you're not wrinkling your skin as you're applying it. So, covering dark circles, make sure you cover underneath the eyes. Just look up, again, sweeping outwards. So as not to get any foundation in any creases. And I would also carry some of the liquid foundation, just slightly lower, along her chin line and down to the neck area. Just so you got a nice, even coverage, and everything is nicely blended. So, as you can see on Emily, we've given her a nice face primer to start with and a liquid foundation afterwards. Whatever foundation you use, make sure you powder well, because that's key when you have oily skin. And so, that's what makeup to use for oily skin. I'm Tara Shakespeare, thanks for watching.
