Hi, I'm Amy Hollier, and I'm a celebrity make-up artist. Today, I'm going to show you how to do make-up for dark eyes at night. So because Serena has such beautiful dark eyes I'm actually going to use a lighter shadow to add a little contrast and to really pick up the light. I have this great color from Maybelline Expert Wear and you can see it has a beautiful white gold, a bronze, and a deeper brown shade. So I've already prepped her eyelid with a little bit concealer. You could also use an eye primer if you have one. And now I'm going to go ahead and take the lighter shades and apply them to the lower lid area. I'm actually going to start with this white gold on a small flat brush. I'm really going to load that up so that I can deposit it right onto the eyelid. And I'm only going to apply it to the inner half of the lid, because I'm going to use this bronze color on the outer side. The key to making your eyes really sparkle and stand out at night, is to use colors that do have a bit of shimmer to them. So that they can really highlight your eye area. And this same shade I'm going to take and put right under her brow as well. Just to highlight the brown bone. So now I'm going to switch to the bronzy shade. I'm going to apply this to the outer half of the lower lid. So it's kind of like putting all the pieces of the puzzle together. I'm also going to use a little bit of this bronze color on the very tip of the brush and just take it right under her lash line on the inner part of the eye. And you can see how that already really highlights her whole eye area. Now I'm going to use the deepest shade and I'm actually going to switch brushes to a more tapered, fluffier brush so that I can just apply it to the crease area. And when I pick it up I just swirl the bristles right onto the shadow and then you can give it a little bit of a tap to remove the excess. Close the eye and apply it right to the outer part of the crease. And once you've deposited the color with the brush you can go back and blend it out so that there's no edges. You just want it to blend out to nothing. You can already see how that really adds sparkle and depth to her eye. And I'm also going to take a little bit of that same color on the very tip of the bristles and add it right under the lash line on this outside corner. So now that we've got her eyeshadow on and to finish off this look I'm going to use a really great coat of mascara. Look down. Nice black mascara, and you can always do 2 or 3 coats to really play up those lashes. I really love the contrast of the black mascara with the white gold bronzy sort of colors popping through. At night you can really get away with being a little heavy handed on your mascara. You want to have a bold look that's really going to stand out against the light shimmery eye shadows. So now I'm just going to go ahead and add a little further highlight. I'm going to use the same palette in this beautiful white gold color. But this time I'm going to use a larger brush and actually just apply it right onto her cheekbone. I'm going to tap a little bit off first so I don't have too much. And then add it right here on top of the cheekbone. So you can see when she turns her face it really catches the light. I'm also going to add a little highlight to the inner corner of the eye and again, right under the brown. So I'm just using the same white gold color to add a little highlight to the inner corners of the eye and right under the brown. So that's how you can do make-up for dark eyes at night. I'm Amy Hollier and thanks for watching.
