Hi, I'm Kendra Richards, professional makeup artist. Today, I'm going to show you makeup colors for fair skin and brown hair. With Ingrid's coloring because she's got the beautiful dark hair and the fair skin I like to select a palette that's in the browns and the neutrals but has a warm undertone to it. That really brings out the warmth in her complexion. So I'm going to begin by warming Ingrid's skin with Blush Subtil in Blushing Nude by Lancome. So I've selected this blush that has a warmth to it in a great neutral, a little bit more in the brown color family. And then what this will do will help warm up Ingrid's skin just a touch. I really like this for fair skin because it's a soft color. It's in that neutral palette. The browns and the warm colors in it really enrich her overall complexion. It's a very flattering shade. If she just had a natural flush to her cheek right now this is the color that she would naturally be blushing. You can see how natural that looks and how much it's just brightened up her complexion giving her a really fresh awake look. You know when I've got a client, I've got somebody sitting in my chair with fair skin and dark hair I like to stick with a color palette that's very neutral. It enhances the overall complexion but it doesn't overpower. Sometimes if you use something a little bit too bright it really becomes overpowering and you notice that more then you notice the natural beauty. After applying blush to the cheeks a little tip that I like to use is to just add a touch to the chin. I like just a little bit in the forehead just at the temples as well. This continues to warm up the face and it balances that cheek color as well so it's really an overall glow. To complete the look I like to use a warm neutral brown to completely tie in this color palette. That adds a little bit of brightness and finishes her face. So I've selected the color palette that I'm using on Ingrid today because it's brought out the natural warmth in her skin tone. And it's really just flattering in a very natural way. These brown neutrals are a perfect compliment to her skin tone and dark hair. And there you a beautiful look for fair skin and brown hair. I'm Kendra Richards thanks for watching.
