- Hello, I'm Spencer Barnes, celebrity makeup artist. And today I'm going to show you how to makeup stay if you have oily skin. When you have oily skin, it's all about making the right choices. First with your moisturizer, make sure you choose something that's oil free and finally with your foundation, look for something that's oil free and that has matte properties that help absorb excess oil in the skin. And today I'm going to use the Dream Matte Mousse by Maybelline. And it's good to use a foundation brush to apply the product because that way you're not using your fingers and maybe applying additional oil or bacteria to your skin. This is probably the easiest way to get a smooth application quickly and effectively. What I love about this foundation is it keeps the skin looking velvety and matte all day, and drawing the oil and the shine. Here's a little insider tip. If you experience excess oil and it's through the day, instead of adding more powder, which collects in the makeup, I recommend using an oil absorbing sheet, a blotting sheet. And that will help lift off the excess oil before you powder. And that way you'll lift off the oil and leave just the makeup behind. It's a great way to control excess oil and shine throughout the day. I noticed this makeup gave Eden a beautiful finish and minimized the appearance of her pours. And I know when you have oily skin, that's often a concern. And there you go. There are a few tips to help makeup stay if you have oily skin. I'm Spencer Barnes and thank you for watching.
