Hi I'm Jessica Liparoto, celebrity hairstylist, and today I'm going to show you how to do a loose French braid. So today I'm going to show you how to do a loose side braid. It's very easy to dress up a traditional braid. All we're going to use is a few things, a brush, a small elastic and some hairspray. Today we're going to be using L'Oreal Paris Elnett Satin Strong Hold Hairspray. Okay first we're going to start off by just brushing through, making sure all the knots are out. So after all of the knots are out, we're going to brush to the side and it doesn't have to be perfect because it's going to be very loose. So, we're just going to take all of her hair to the side and you're going to start in the mid section, pull it out, smooth it out and you're going to create three lines. Here's our dream team, the fab three, alright, so now that we started, you're just going to keep grabbing a little piece of hair from each side, grab your outer, smooth it out a little bit into the center. Don't pull so tight, it's not about tension in the loose braids. Then we're going to grab a little hair from the other side and we're going to bring it in the center. So then you're just going to keep repeating this step all the way to the end. And now that we're coming towards the end, I'm going to leave out her bang to complete our messy look, keep it kind of loose and I braided it so it's going to sit on her shoulder. Okay, then you're going to secure it with your little elastic and then I'm going to go back through and just kind of pull it out a little bit so it has a true messy look to it. And that's how you do a loose braid. I'm Jessica Liparoto. Thank you for watching.
