- Hi, I'm Jeremy Clark, Professional Hairstylist and Salon Owner. And today, I'm going to show you how to do a looped bun hairstyle. So, what you'll need for this hairstyle are some bobby pins, a natural bristle brush and a soft hold gel. Today, I'm going to use the Garnier Fructis Pure Clean Gel. So, you can see, I've placed Sarah's hair in a ponytail and what I'm going to do is take a little bit of gel to hold the ponytail together. We're going to start at the bottom and roll the ponytail up into a bun shape. We'll place some ends and then, and then, place the rest to the bun. Taking a little bit of gel and just really breaking it down; you want to make sure that the water starts to evaporate and you're just left with the little bit of shine and hold that's in the product. Distributing the gel through the hair; we want to cover up the elastic, so, I'm going to take a section of hair from underneath and then twist it slightly and just go ahead and wrap right around. With that little tab of hair that's left, I'm just going to catch that with the pin, going right towards the head and then, I'm going to flip it right back into the pony. And I'm going to start at the bottom and just wrap it right up into the high bun. And I'm going to pin the hair right where I'm holding it and just placing the pin right at that point. Okay, and once you have the bun fairly secure, I'm just going to go in and spread it out slightly and then, pin it just to make sure it's secure. You can wear this to a formal events; you could wear it to a dinner out or a cocktail party. That's how you do a looped bun. I'm Jeremy Clark, thanks for watching.
