- Hi, I'm Stevi Christine, professional makeup artist and I'm here to teach you how to get lipstick to last. Great tool to get lipstick to last is first, conceal the lip. Not only does it help lipstick last but it also just gives your lip a really neutral palatte to start so the color that you're actually going to put on the lip is actually going to be the true color. And on Chelsea I chose a nudey-peach which is great for all day wear and you can actually take that into night by just adding a little smoke and intense to the eye makeup. So today on Chelsea I'm going to be using L'Oreal Paris Infallible Lip Rouge in Lingering Mocha. The first step to achieving a long lasting lip color is use concealer on the entire lip. Second step, a lip liner. It's key essential to having a long lasting lip color. Not only do you want to just line the outside, you want to also take this into the lip, especially in the corners here. Then, finally, our lip color. Start in the middle. Work out. This color is gorgeous on Chelsea. It's very natural with a hint of color. It's great for everyday wear. And there you have it. That's how you get lipstick to last. I'm Stevi Christine. Thanks for watchin'.
