- Hi I'm Hilda Levierge. I'm a professional makeup artist and today I'm going to teach you how to get lips that shimmer. So sometimes you don't want to wear a full lipstick or mess with a gloss but you still want to create a little bit of light and attention to your lips so on Kendall I'm going to be using Maybelline Color Sensational Pearls and the color I chose is called sugared almond. It's got a little bit of a brown undertone to it. Kendall has nice mocha colored skin so this is going to be really complimentary if you have more of pink undertones to your skin, they have many different colors that have more of a peachy pinky hue to them. So this lipstick is really moisturizing so you don't even need to prep your lips with lip balm if you don't want to. It already will do the job for you. So I'm just going to directly apply it and it's just going to give a nice sheer coverage. It's really natural so it's going to attract the light and create the illusion of fuller plumper lips and I'm even going to concentrate more of the product in the center of her bottom lip and just at the Cupid's bow in the top lip because those two points really are hit by the light than most and then just kind of feather it out to the rest of the lips. So that's if you want just a really natural quick easy shimmer to your lip. If you want to do a little bit more you can add a lip liner and just put a little bit of extra definition in the Cupid's bow and also right here in the bottom of the lip and just kind of blend it. You can just blend it with your finger, smudge it a little bit and that will help to give your lips even more definition. This is such a great product because you can layer it with a lipstick, your favorite color lipstick or you can put this product over your lipstick or you can also use a gloss but I think it's really pretty by itself. So by adding a gloss it's just going to intensify the shimmer even more so it will attract even more attention to your lips if that's what you're going for. There you have it.
