- Hi, I'm Spencer Barnes, celebrity makeup artist. Today, I'm going to show you the best lip colors for blonds in the Spring. To get us started, I've gone ahead and selected three shades that are beautiful that could all work with her Spring fresh palette. I've also done a little bit of a soft lavender eye to complement her blue eyes. Let's take a look at these colors. The first is a soft kind of pink color. It's got a little more lavender and a little bit of frost in it, would be beautiful and very wearable. This middle one is a very vibrant pink. It's got a rose tone and I think it would be beautiful to really offset her eyes. The last is more of the coral tone. If you wanted to go in the coral family and bring a little peach in that would be a great option as well. Let's go ahead and do this rose. It's a beautiful vibrant color and I think it will really offset her eyes well. Today, I'll be using the Maybelline Superstay 14 Hour Lip Color in eternal rose. I'm going ahead and loading the color on a lip brush but you can also apply it directly from the tube at home. This color has a beautiful vibrant rich tone, perfect for Springtime if you want to really wake up your skin, choose a color that will complement your eyes and skin color and be bold and beautiful. When I think of Spring I think of things coming alive, bright, vibrant colors, flowers in full bloom. This is why I think a bright color like this is perfect for a Springtime look. It also looks great if your skin, you know, if you've been in the Winter weather your skin is going to be a lot paler than maybe in the Summer and these cool colors really look great with paler skin. And in case you're at home wondering well I have darker skin tone or medium deep skin tone, you can still wear these colors. The biggest trick is to balance the rest of your face, the cheeks and the eyes so that the palette works together to complement each other. Now that we've finished her lips you can see that the color is bold and vibrant. It really gives her a pop of color and wakes her face up, perfect for the Springtime.
