Hi, I'm Jeremy Clark, professional hairstylist and salon owner, and today I'm going to give you some tips on how to make your hair look healthy, shiny and strong. There's a few things that you can do to keep your hair looking healthy and strong and the first thing I want to go over is not using too much heat. Heat can actually damage the hair and make it look frizzy and frayed at the end. If you are using a heat tool like a curling iron or a flatiron, it's important to make sure you protect the hair with a thermal protectant or serum. You really want to take a look at your daily care, the types of shampoo that you're using and the conditioners. You want to be sure you're using a gentle shampoo that doesn't strip the hair of its natural oils and you want to use a conditioner that is moisturizing rather than filled with protein because protein can actually dry the hair out. When you're styling your hair, it's important to use good products that have shine to them. I like to use a shine hairspray and perhaps some shine drops or serum. We've already styled Sarah's hair and I'm going to set it with some hairspray. I'm going to use the Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine Anti-humidity Hairspray. So using a spray with a little bit of shine will really help protect the hair from frizz and humidity throughout the day and will keep your hair looking really shiny and fresh. On photo shoots, I need to use a spray that will protect the hair and add shine throughout the day. It helps my style last for the entire shoot, not only that, it gives the illusion of healthy shiny hair and it reflects the light well. I also like to use a natural bristle brush and just to help distribute the hairspray through the hair and distribute the natural oils and shine. These are great for achieving that look. The great thing about a bristle brush is that it won't rip through the hair and cause breakage or split ends. It will just slide and glide through the hair really easily. One other thing that you can do to add tons of shine to your hair is take a supplement like fish oil or flax. The omega oils will add a lot of shine to your hair. Oils in general are great on the hair and when styling I like to use argon oil or linseed oil to really polish out your style. There's some tips for you to keep your hair shiny, healthy and strong. I'm Jeremy Clark, thanks for watching.
