- Hi, guys! I'm Jhizet Panosian, celebrity makeup artist, and today we're going to talk about a simple eye makeup application with a red lip. So when choosing an application with the eyes to compliment a red lip, you want to keep the eyes a little bit more minimal, since you're already making a very bold statement with your red lips. Today, I'm going to be using L'Oreal's Telescopic liquid eyeliner on Erica. So I'm going to start out with a very light, rosy eyeshadow to start, and you want to go right at the base of your lids... and remember that Erica's skin has already been prepped with concealer and foundation and a little hint of powder, so there's already powder on the skin being used as a barrier between the shadow that you're applying that's also a powder product. For my next step, I'm going to use a similar shade, but a touch darker than what I did before. Just work the product in... and I want to go in on the crease just to add a little dimension and depth to the eye area. And just work that in, work it out, small circular motions. And you want to blend it in with the existing color so there are no harsh lines. It just has a little hint of shimmer, which is really pretty and brightens up the face, but nothing too hard, nothing too drastic, since you already have so much color going on with the face already. So my next step, I'm going to use a liquid eyeliner and line the upper lid, closest to the lash line. And you want to start out with a very thin eye line and just work outwards. So you want to get as close as possible to the lash line, to make sure that there are no spaces between the lash line and the line you're creating - and you can go up a little and create a little tiny bit of a cat. And you just tilt up from where your lashes end. So I'm just finishing up making sure there's no space between the lash line and the line that I've created. And you can pull it up to a little bit of a cat eye; you don't want it to be too drastic, just something very soft. To complete her look, I have a quick little trick that I like to do: the same color that I used on her lids, I'm going to put it right back on the brush that I used--the little fluffy one--and just put it on the inner corner of her eyes, and that instantly just brightens up her face. Especially in the evening, this captures the light really nicely, especially if the shadow has a hint of shimmer to it, and that'll just brighten your face up really quickly without a lot of product. And finally, we're just going to finish with two coats of black mascara. And there you go. That's a simple eye application with a red lip. I'm Jhizet Panosian, and thanks for watching.
