- Hi, I'm Tara Shakespeare, celebrity makeup artist. Today, I'm going to show you how to do hot makeup. In order to achieve a hot makeup look, it's about the overall look that you get. So, I've started Taylor off. We've given her some fantastic mascara, kept the eyes very simple, and really pumped up her cheeks with a lovely bronzey sort of goldeney color. So, I'm going to finish off the look with a really lovely lip color. It's kind of a neturaly, natural color, but with hints of gold in it. It's going to be strong enough to amp up the look, but not enough to detract away from Taylor's beautiful blue eyes. So, to achieve this look on Taylor, I'm going to use L'Oreal Paris Infallible Le Rouge Lipstick in Opulent Organza. As with applying any lip color, I'm going to take the natural pinkness out of Taylor's lips by just to give her a good coverage of concealer. This is just to ensure that the lip color that you've chosen comes through - that the true color of the lip color you've chosen comes through. So, I'm going to take a flat lip brush to apply the lipstick to Taylor's lips. You see it's slightly rounded at the end, which makes application a little bit easier. Going to get a good amount of product on the brush, and just smooth it out on the back of my hand. And then, just by starting in the center, just follow the natural line of Taylor's lips down and out. I'm using the flat side of it, so the thin side. You could just draw some of the product up along the outside edges. And then, again, do the same on the bottom, start in the center and working out, using the flat edge to draw again. And really, I'm just using the edge of the brush just to guide me. Take and see, it's a beautiful lip color. And again, it really compliments the rest of the makeup that we've put on Taylor's face. And so, that's how you do hot makeup. I'm Tara Shakespeare. Thanks for watching.
