- Hi, I'm Caile Noble, celebrity hairstylist, and today I'm going to show you how to do a hairstyle with soft buns. So today with Kathryn's hair I'm going to show you how to do two soft buns on the side. You're simply going to want to use a flat brush, a tail comb, some hairpins and a hairspray. The hairspray we're going to use is the Garnier Fructis Full Control Anti-humidity Hairspray. Now to achieve the look it's quite simple. You're going to want to split the hair down the middle and create two sides. So I'm just going to go through and make sure I've got a nice even balance. Once you have that done, you're simply going to go in with the hair and tease just as the base to create some anchor for your pins. Once you've done that, repeat that step on the other side. Once you have the hair teasing at the base, now you're ready to go in and establish your soft buns. So loosely just grabbing the hair, just twist it around and throw it into place. Obviously since we're doing soft buns it's the imperfections that's going to make this look beautiful. So once you have your hair kind of wrapped in place, just with your hairpins, go in and start anchoring down. Once you have your soft bun in place, go in with your hairspray just to kind of secure it, kind of tucking in and giving those buns the placement that you want. Now you're ready to move on to the next side. So simply creating the same look, go to the other side. When you're achieving the bun, remember that you're not overworking the hair, you're simply just creating a soft loose bun. And then once you have it in place, once again, just start grabbing your pins and anchoring it down into that T section that we created. Now I've finished the buns and I'm just going to go in and kind of give them a little extra spray to lock them in place. You can also use the spray to grab any flyaways or mold the buns just a little bit more if you'd like. But as you can see, we've kept the buns loose and soft and like I said before, it's the imperfections that's going to make this look beautiful because we're not trying to be too constricted. Our model Kathryn has bangs and as you can see it's maybe giving the look a little bit more of a dramatic feel, however, if you don't have bangs you can still create this look and if you also want to be a little less dramatic about it you can also make the buns a little tighter. Obviously I kept them very loose and open which is giving a little bit more of a bigger dramatic feel and that's how you create a hairstyle with soft buns. I'm Caile Noble and thank you for watching.
