- Celebrity hairstylist, David Dang, showing you new hairstyles to accentuate your jawline. To accentuate your jawline there's just a couple tips that I'm going to give you to do that, very easy steps and as you can see on Elaine here we've already pre-curled her hair, that's already number one. As you can see it's already accenting her jawline but everything that you need to do needs to be away from the face. The serum that we'll be using is L'Oreal Paris EverSleek Super Sleek Intense Serum. Now to accentuate the jawline what we're going to do is give her some volume here at the crown area. So I like to use my power of three, once again, we're going to section the hair at the crown area, as you can see like that, here we are and I like to go ahead and back comb up here and give it just a little bit of some nice juzh, go ahead and back comb, spray and use your blow dryer. Once again, you're going to go ahead and back comb, spray and use your blow dryer. You can do that three times or two times, depending on where you're doing it but I like to do it three, just in case. Wind resistant, alright, so once you get that take your brush and comb it back, just to create a nice base there. And as you can see volume already created, nice waves, nice volume it's good. Now from here, you're just going to take things back at the recession area and then just pull back along these lines, creating a nice Grecian twist. Now once you do that, go ahead and bobby pin those in. Excellent and as you can see it's a nice twist but away from the face, and already accenting that nice jawline and her features here giving her also some lift. Now if you need to accent the lift a little bit more, go ahead and take your bobby pin and just take sections of the hair and just move it up so not to disturb anything out of the ordinary here, just at the crown area, perfect. It looks great. So from here you can go ahead and put it up even more, take it three apart, go ahead and braid it. You can either braid it tightly, braid it loosely. You can leave it to the side like that to accentuate the face even more, giving it some texture, some body or you can go ahead and put it up with a tighter braid. Go ahead and finish your braid, go ahead and twist it, get some of it undone, some nice braidage, like a little bit uneven and then go ahead and twist it into the hair, creating that nice bun in the back, bobby pin it in and then just put your pins in if you want to not make it too messy and a little bit formal and there you go, just a little nice bun in the back, creating some nice lift, accentuating everything and she looks great especially with her fringe. And then from here what we're going to be doing is we're going to go ahead and take it down if that's not the look that you're going for, depending on what occasion especially you're going for too. I mean maybe this is more ballerina than anything but from here, you can go ahead and leave it down or you can start to create a nice accentuating bun back here again. You can pull it off to the side, split it in two, create your bun, creating a bun as a base and then start to take some of your loose pieces and go ahead and put it into it, loose pieces and up you go. And then I'm going to go ahead and finish up the other side. Awesome, and as I'm finishing this up it's already giving her a nice red carpet look, wallah. And if you're trying to get rid of any baby fine hairs in this look go ahead and use your serum. You don't need too much you just need a little bit like that, rub it together and then you give it some shine, some shine and some hold and give that frizz the control it needs and you can use some on your bangs just by piecing it out. Alright and there you have it, a couple hairstyles to accentuate your jawline. This is celebrity hairstylist, David Dang, and I'll catch you here next time.
