- Hi I'm beauty expert Tracy O'Connor and today I'm going to show you how to get good looking skin. So some of us have been blessed with a gorgeous complexion since the day we've been born. Others of us struggle sometimes with acne, breakout, redness, irritation, dryness, fine lines, wrinkles, you name it, we have it. So, the best way to get a clear radiant, smooth, healthy complexion is through a highly product regimen that you do a.m. and p.m. every day. So on Ashlyn today I'm going to use the Midnight Recovery Concentrate by Kiehl's. I'm just going to take a couple drops, place it onto my fingertip and apply. Serums are designed to penetrate deeper into the skin cells into the layers of the skin and they're highly effective in treating issues. So if you have acne, if you have fine lines and wrinkles, if you have scarring as a result of acne, or as a result of maybe just being in the sun, you might have some kind of sun spots, a serum is a fantastic way to treat and address those issues. I love using products with essential oils and this product has evening primrose oil which is an essential fatty acid. It has gamma linoleic acid which immediately reduces inflammation in the skin and inflammation obviously can create havoc on your skin, create red patches and breakout. If we don't have a balanced complexion, our natural radiance won't show through. Another favorite oil, essential oil is lavender oil, also very calming to the complexion and it has additional benefits. Lavender can just be calming to the mind. I think if you have an ability to reduce stress in your life you're going to see that in your skin. Lavender oil also stimulates the circulation and if you have better circulation your skin is going to look healthier. You'll have that kind of rosy glow that is characteristic of healthy balanced skin. So when is the best time to apply a serum? Definitely at night, that's when our body goes into repair and recovery mode. So our body is more receptive to the ingredients in a serum at night and it's going to utilize those effectively. One final tip, our skin is our largest organ. Our skin is going to reflect our state of health. If you are eating properly, getting exercise, getting good sleep, you've reduced the stress in your life, you're immediately going to see results in your skin. And there you go, that's how to get good looking skin. I'm Tracy O'Connor, thanks for watching.
